About Us

I have owned the Red Lion Inn at Partney since October 2006.  We offer award winning traditional country kitchen style English food, a large beer garden with a view, a dining terrace, excellent accommodation and a very warm welcome in a quiet village on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Red Lion is my home as well as my business and it is extremely important to me that it is clean and welcoming.  We have always held a five-star hygiene rating with the Local Authority, and we have further enhanced our cleaning schedule to take COVID 19 into account.

The accommodation, restaurant and bar were fully refurbished in 2017.  

We are proud to have been awarded a “Highly Commended” for our accommodation in the Tastes of Lincolnshire Awards.

All our meals are homemade, our portions are generous, we source locally wherever possible and our prices are sensible. 

A good selection of wines is available from our wine list and our real ales are maintained to the highest quality.

Wherever possible we use locally sourced produce. Our meat is reared locally and supplied by Boston Sausage, Boston and Wards Butchers, Ruskington,  our fish is supplied by Moorcrofts of Grimsby, our barn eggs come from extremely happy hens at the Tasty Farm in Burgh le Marsh and we buy our fruit and vegetables from Bedford Fruit and Veg, Skegness who in turn source their produce where possible from local farms and suppliers.
