Owned since 2006, The Red Lion is my home as well as my business and it is extremely important to me that it is clean and welcoming.
We offer comfortable 4 star accommodation, a traditional country kitchen style menu, an external south facing dining terrace and a snug and restaurant with wood burners.
We pride ourselves on achieving the following standards:

- Five en suite bedrooms sympathetically refurbished and decorated and furnished to a high standard with check in from 4pm (earlier by arrangement).
- Three Standard first floor en-suite rooms with showers.
- One Superior ground floor room with a wet room and wheelchair access.
- One Superior ground floor room with a bathroom with a bath and large walk in shower.

- Food is served 7 evenings a week (please see our contacts page for our opening hours)
- Although we are closed at lunchtimes, we will open by arrangement for group bookings, parties, funerals, walking groups etc. Let us know your requirements and we will cater for your needs
- We endeavour to source as much of our food as is possible from local suppliers.
